New Pittsburgh Courier 50 Women of Excellence 2021 awards




The New Pittsburgh Courier has held the “Women of Excellence” for many years now. Honoring 50 African American women out of the Pittsburgh region as well as 1 legacy honoree which this year 2021 was Lynn Hayes-Freeland. This years dinner was held on the south side of Pittsburgh at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel with a little over 500 people in attendance on Dec 16th 2021. This video shows the 50 women receiving their awards and the speech from the legacy honoree Lynn Hayes-Freeland.
