African American Chamber of Commerce hosts a power breakfast almost every month where you have breakfast with professionals of all fields and a speaker comes in to help educate everyone on several different subjects, depending on the speaker. This Power breakfast was a panel with Allegheny County Black state reps, Rep. Jake Wheatley, Rep Summer Lee, Rep. Austin Davis and Rep. Ed Gainey. Pittsburgh City County Building Black History Exhibit Reception 2020

Pittsburgh City County Building Black History Exhibit reception was held on Feb 4th 2020 and the exhibit will be up until Feb 28th 2020. This years theme is honoring the Negro League. The Negro league turns 100yrs old on Feb 13th 2020. This is from the City of Pittsburgh Website "Pittsburgh Negro League: Hall of Fame" showcases Pittsburgh's many Negro League Hall of Famers through the display of photos, artifacts and memorabilia.  The exhibit spotlighting individual players, teams and owners includes photos from Crown Antique & Collectibles and negroleaguehistory.com, reproductions of a dozen portraits by artist Graig Kreindler, books, cards and other collectibles.  The display also includes a continuous screening of sports historian Rob Ruck's award-winning documentary "Kings of the Hill: Baseball's Forgotten Men," which spotlights the Pittsburgh Crawfords and Homestead Grays." more intel can be seen by clicking on here: https://pittsb
